Pre-installation
How much space is required to install the opener?
The GG 220 needs a minimum ceiling height of 8’6” and at least a 9’ unobstructed area in which to raise and lower the unit. See the diagram below:
I have a low ceiling in my garage.
Will the Garage Gator work for me?
You will require a minimum clearance of eight foot six inches from your floor to your ceiling or the bottom of your trusses. top
What do I need to check before starting installing the opener?
Before attempting installation, thoroughly read the owners manual. Thoroughly inspect the mounting area to be sure it is adequate to safely install the opener you have selected. Also confirm the availability of a 110-volt grounded outlet. Be sure to wear protective gear such as safety glasses and follow all precautions regarding electrical and ladder safety. top
What type of power requirements
will I need
for my new Garage Gator?
110 volt, 10 amp service. The power extension cord must be UL approved and in a safe working condition. top

Operation and maintenance
How do I raise or lower the hook bar?
Do not stand under the lift. Turn the key in the hand control switch to the “ON” position. Press and hold the rocker switch in the direction you want the hook bar to travel. Release the switch when the desired location is reached. top
How do I load a bike on the hook bar?
Loop one piece of the bike cable through the rim of the front tire then connect the clip to the oblong ring attached to the hook bar. Loop the second piece of the bike cable through the rim of the back tire then connect the clip to the oblong ring attached to the hook bar. top
How should golf bags be stored on the hook bar?
Golf bags should be hung by the carrying handle – NOT the shoulder strap. top
What type of maintenance is required for the Garage Gator?
Very little. Periodically check the condition of the electrical cords, plugs and controls. Also, periodically check to be sure the motor is properly attached to its mounting plate and all bolts are right. top
Safety
What safety features are on the Garage Gator?
The Garage Gator is engineered and manufactured to be as safe to install and operate as possible. Two key safety features are the upper limit switch which prevents upward movement of the hook bar once the uppermost travel point is reached and the key lock hand control unit which prevents the unit from operating unless the key is switched to the on position. top

What is the warranty on the Garage Gator?
The warranty covers all parts for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Refer to the owner’s manual for details. top
How do I get service under my Garage Gator warranty?
To get warranty service for your V-Bro product, you must provide proof of date and place of purchase of the product. Call V-Bro Consumer Connection toll free at 1-888-GATOR-08. Trained V-Bro representatives will assist in diagnosing the problem and will arrange to supply you with required parts for repairs. How do I purchase repair or replacement parts
for my Garage Gator product?

May I return my Garage Gator,
and what is your company's return policy?
You may return your Garage Gator for credit within 30 days of the original purchase date. The cost of the Garage Gator will be credited less
the shipping charges. You must first receive a return authorization,
return the shipment in it's original box and prepay the freight back to V-Bro Products, LLC. top
